Cliffs accessible from the mainland

Many cliffs and bays are worth seeing on Mainland

A number of cliffs are directly accessible by road on the mainland of Scotland. Examples include Saint Abb's, Fowlseugh, Troup Head in the Upland or the Grampians, or John o'Groats, Noss Head and Duncansby Head in the Highlands.

Walking around cliffs near Stonehaven, I suddenly see a crazy young ermine playing among the heather until a Gull appears.

Between Aberdeen and Inverness, a magnificent colony of gannets observable from dry land.
