Pictures and videos of Scottish moors and lakes

In Scotland, the Osprey deserves special mention. Disappeared from these countries until 1954, it was in the Grampians, at Loch Garten, near Aviemore, that it was reintroduced. We first saw it at this RSPB reserve in 1976.
Since then it has spread and can be easily observed at Loch of the Lowes, a Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve near Dunkeld.
In 2015 we found a nest easily visible from the road between Kingussie and Aviemore.

The beginning of the movie takes place at Loch of the Lowes. The young is feeding and making some wings movements.
We stay then closer to a nest on a lake between Kingussie and Aviemore. The adult is perched on a tree, then it flies towards the nest.
